White House Lodge is a conversion of a derelict farm worker’s cottage to an eco friendly, high spec, four bedroom house, sleeping eight, suitable for summer holidays and winter retreats.
The stylish accommodation is spread over two floors, and is furnished with contemporary furniture. There is an expansive kitchen lounge diner with sea views, feature bathrooms and a well equipped utility room. There is also a large shed for guest’s use.
Since completion White House Lodge has been featured in a number of newspapers and magazines, and in 2013 won the Daily Telegraph Homebuilding and Renovation Award for Best Conversion.
In late 2020, White House Lodge was awarded the Best Eco-Friendly Luxury Self-Catering Cottage - Inner Hebrides by Lux Life.
Please note, during mid and high season check in/out is only available on Sundays. We operate a minimum stay policy of 7 nights during this time.

To reach White House Lodge, drive through the village after exiting the ferry. Veer right up the hill as you pass An Cridhe Community Centre on your left. After a mile and a half take a left at the T junction. White House Lodge is on your right after approximately a mile and a half.

The remaining amount is to be paid 60 days before arrival.

A pre-authorization of €230 is held on 1 days before arrival and voided on 7 days after departure

Fantastic location
We were a party of 8. Whitehouse lodge was very comfortable and plenty of space for 8 . A very warm and well equipped house, Comfy beds. The views were amazing,we saw dolphins,a whale although unsure what kind,Minke probably.,when the sea was calm. The male Hen Harrier swooped through the area several times a day.The female was further up the road on the way to Hugh Bay. The sunsets were fabulous,the weather was very kind,we all sat out 5 nights out of 7. Looking forward to returning again some day A lovely house to stay in,we hope to return again

Perfect holiday
We have been to Coll many times but our first stay at the White House. 6 adults (parents/grandparents) and 2 toddlers. We chose the house because of the open plan living and kitchen area downstairs - ideal for children to run around where we could see them - and for the home from home facilities. It was comfortable and stylish and plenty of space inside and out. Also fantastic views from every window. Outside we enjoyed the seating area and play facilities and barbecue. Ideally situated for beaches too. Would highly recommend.
Fabulous stay
White House lodge is a real gem of a place to stay. The 7 of us and two dogs could not have asked for a more blissful house and location. This is a high spec peaceful venue one of the best we have stayed in on our visits to any of the islands. Enjoy

A very special house indeed. Only 2 people stayed and although a wonderful large house for 8, the downstairs space worked perfectly for us both. A lot of love and attention to detail has gone into the property with top brand products throughout; from White Company bedding and John Lewis kitchen wear to SONOS and Morsø log-burner. We instantly felt at home. The setting of the house is glorious, a nice distance from the main village with a private setting in close proximity and great views of the sea. Coll itself is a delightful friendly Island and cannot wait to visit again. Two very happy visitors that are very sad to leave.

Island Adventure
This is a beautiful house in a stunning location. A lot of thought has gone into the facilities offered and there is provision for all kinds of weather: the table tennis, for example, was brilliant! A completely fenced garden was a boon for owners of dogs/small children as was the climbing frame. We had a wonderful week despite a few niggles (which have been mentioned elsewhere and are easily remedied)
